Registration Issues - Updating Your GCALS Profile

If you are having issues registering for GCALS courses or receive the error "Warning: You aren't currently affiliated with any agencies or departments" 

Please log in to your GCALS account (https://gcals.gdc.ga.gov) and verify or correct your profile. You will need to do this before taking any GCALS courses:

Please go to your Profile:
GCALS > Account > Profile:

1. Make sure that the Work Email section of your Student Profile does not have your personal email address listed or is left blank. If so, please correct this field with your official Work email address.

2. Make sure that the Agency Affiliation field is completed with the correct Facility or physical Site address that you are assigned.

      If an Agency is not shown, select "Click here if your current agency affiliation isn't listed"

      If your Agency needs to be changed, select "Remove" and then add the correct agency.


Please note the exceptions below:


Regional Offices:

      · North Regional Office – select: Metro Re-Entry Facility

      · Southeast Regional Office – select: Georgia State Prison

      · Southwest Regional Office – select: Lee State Prison

 

Facilities that should select SOSTC:

      · Fleet Management

      · Care & Custody (all 3 sites)

      · Offender Administration @ Jackson

      · Arnall Building

      · Tech Contractors:

            Enter "Tech Cont" in the GDC Employee ID field

 

Health Care Contractors select:

      · Wellpath, Department of Correctional Healthcare

Education Contractors select:

      · GDC - Education Contractor

Mental Health Contractors select:

      · MHM/Centurion Correctional

 

3. If you have an Officer Key (Okey) make sure it is correct - with the first digit as "O" and not Zero "0"

Once this is completed and your account is approved by your Agency Training Instructor, you will be able to register for GCALS courses again.
